Notices for Applicants

1. This QR appointment system is designed to schedule appointments for counselor services for Myanmar citizens currently residing in Malaysia. Therefore, only Malaysian telephone numbers (+60 xxx xxx) can be used to apply for a QR code. Each phone number can apply for only one QR code. You can reapply for a new QR code once you have completed processing for the existing QR code.
2. If you do not have a passport, you must enter your Myanmar NRC No. To enter your NRC No., use the NRC Search Box to select the accurate NRC Code for your respective State, Region, and Township.
3. To verify your telephone number, an OTP code will be sent to your telephone number. You should re-enter your OTP code into the application form within 12 minutes from the time you submit the application. If you enter the wrong telephone number or do not receive OTP within 12 minutes, the OTP will expire, and you should restart your QR application from the beginning.
4. After your QR Code application is accepted, appointment information will be sent to your email. Therefore, please make sure you have entered the correct email address and double-check it. Please note that you should apply for a QR code from a Malaysia IP address and should not apply from other countries.
5. You will be notified of the scheduled appointment date by email to process the counselor service you mentioned in your QR application.
6. When you arrive at the embassy on the appointed date, you must present your QR Code at the registration counter to receive a Queue Number. The information in your QR application will be matched with the information in your identification documents. Only QR applications with valid and correct information will be issued a Queue Number. Therefore, please check, re-check, and ensure the correctness of your application.
7. If there is any dispute regarding the QR code, the Embassy officer's decision will be final.
